| Just came back from an amazing ski trip to Mount Buller. The snow was absolutely fantastic, it felt like i was in a Christmas movie. A real winter wonderland... | | |
| When you're dreaming with a broken heart The waking up is the hardest part You roll outta bed and down on your knees And for the moment you can hardly breathe Wondering was she really here? Is she standing in my room? No she's not, 'cause she's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone.... I had the awesome previlege of going to see John Mayer live in concert on Saturday and would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to one of the best birthday presents i've ever received. (my bday was in december) anyway...he was totally awesome, sounds even better life than on the CD and honoured us with an encore of 2 songs, 3x5 and Gravity.(although according to steph encores are a given in concerts) haha... although john was really tiny from where i was seated, i was surprised that he was quite tall in comparison to the rest of the musos. he's a good performer and i like how they timed the bass guitar with his jumps. the guitar solos were rocking, and i think he makes most of them up on the spot. yeah his new hair-do makes him look a bit more mature but i guess it reflects the change of style in his music which has become jazzier, less mainstream like the previous albums. BUT he did play the ol time favourites like no such thing, why georgia etc etc... he didn't play 'stop this train' from the new album which was what i was kinda hoping for...although i was told previously that he doesn't play it because it's too personal- about him being afraid of getting older and losing his parents- sigh....i guess i'll just put it on repeat on the ipodd... i didn't buy any merchandise coz it was sooo expensive like $25 for the CD...so i'm gonna get it from KL for about $16. | I've finally got some photos uploaded on the photoblog. Be sure to have a looky | | |
| I tried to update my blog a few days ago, only to find that the wireless connection stuffed up and i lost my post. Well, the gist of what i wanted to say was to thank God for his amazing blessing on my life. I did really well in IB and got into Veterinary Science. Without Him, I would have never made it through the valleys of extended essay, TOk, english oral, tuition, etc. etc. Praise you Jesus!!! I've made it through high school and i'll hopefully never have to enter PLC again for academic purposes. Also, here are some photos i took in Tasmania. Seafood at Mures
